If you want a storEDGE alternative, compare tools on three things: price you can see, contract terms, and fit for your size. Stitch Storage is one option for independent owners with 30 to 300 units: $39 to $99 a month, no contracts, and a free migration in 48 hours.
We make Stitch Storage, so read this with that in mind. Every storEDGE fact below comes from Storable's own page or a press report, dated as of October 2026. storEDGE is now branded Storable Edge, and we use both names.
Who uses storEDGE, and why it is a good product
storEDGE is a 100% cloud facility management platform from Storable. Per Inside Self-Storage, it merged with SpareFoot and SiteLink in 2018, and Storable later renamed it Storable Edge. Storable's product page positions it for single and multi-facility operators, smaller operations that value simplicity, and unmanned facilities.
Strengths from Storable's page:
- Ease of navigation and automated tasks.
- Integrated text, email and phone.
- Mobile walkthrough inspections.
- 13 core reports included, plus collections automation and third-party integrations.
- Terms. Month-to-month, cancel anytime.
- Migration help. A dedicated Storable team transfers data from legacy systems.
If you want a modern interface from a large vendor with a wide marketplace, it is a reasonable choice.
Why some owners look for an alternative
- Price transparency. We found no price on Storable's page as of October 2026; it asks for a demo. Some owners want to compare prices first.
- Renaming and change. The brand change from storEDGE to Storable Edge, and a new Storable CEO in September 2026, per Inside Self-Storage, lead some owners to re-evaluate. These are neutral reasons.
- Feature fit. A small or rural site may want a few things done well: rentals, autopay, late fees, gate codes, a website.
What to look for in an alternative
- A published price or a written, itemized quote.
- Month-to-month terms.
- Online rentals, autopay and late fees that run without staff.
- Lien timelines for your state.
- Free or low-cost migration and a way to export later.

Who should stay with storEDGE
Stay if you value Storable's scale, depend on its marketplace integrations or already have staff trained on it. Stitch is not the right fit for operators with hundreds of facilities or enterprise custom integrations.
How switching to Stitch works
- Get your export from storEDGE. We found no published outbound export guide, so ask Storable support for a full export of units, tenants, leases, balances and payment history. See how to switch from storEDGE.
- Start a free trial. 30 days, no card.
- Upload with the storEDGE preset.
- Read the validation report, then run a dry run.
- Go live. Free, within 48 hours of a complete export. Roll back if needed.
Balances import as "Opening balance" ledger entries. Stored card numbers do not carry over, so tenants re-enter a payment method. More on free migration, switching to Stitch and pricing. Also see the wider Storable alternatives.
