1. Use Stitch lawfully

Use Stitch only to run a self storage business and only in ways that follow the law. You are responsible for knowing the laws that apply to your facility, your leases, your fees and your collections.

2. Messages to tenants

  • Send text messages and emails only to people who have agreed to receive them, or where the law allows.
  • Do not send spam, threats, harassment or misleading messages.
  • Include accurate information in every notice, and keep records of what you sent.

3. Payments

  • Charge only amounts your lease and the law allow.
  • Do not use Stitch to process payments for goods or services unrelated to your storage business.
  • Do not use Stitch for fraud, money laundering or any activity that Stripe prohibits.

4. Lien notices and sales

Stitch tracks timelines and helps prepare notices. You decide whether and when to send a notice or hold a sale, and you are responsible for following your state’s law. Review your process with an attorney.

5. Protect the service

  • Do not try to break, probe or overload Stitch, or get around its limits or access controls.
  • Do not scrape the product or use it to build a competing service.
  • Do not share your login or let someone use your account who is not authorized.
  • Do not upload malware or content you have no right to use.

If you want to test the security of Stitch, email support@stitchstorage.com first.

6. Fair treatment of tenants

Do not use Stitch to discriminate against anyone in a way the law forbids.

7. What happens if the policy is broken

We may warn you, remove content, limit features, or suspend or end your account. Where we can, we will explain why and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

8. Reporting a problem
