Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Hive Asset Group, LLC collects through Stitch Storage, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy covers visitors to stitchstorage.com and people who create a Stitch Storage account (our customers, who own or run storage facilities).

Facility owners also enter information about their tenants into Stitch. For that information, the facility owner decides what is collected and why, and we act as their service provider. If you rent a unit from a facility that uses Stitch, contact the facility with questions about your information. Our Data Processing Addendum describes how we handle it.

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address, password (stored in protected form), facility name and unit count.
  • Billing details: plan, invoices and payment status. Card details go directly to Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
  • Content you enter: facility, unit, tenant, lease and payment records, and messages you send through Stitch.
  • Usage and device data: pages viewed, actions taken, browser and device type, IP address and error logs, used to run and secure the service.
  • Messages to us: what you send when you email hello@stitchstorage.com or support@stitchstorage.com.

3. How we use it

  • To provide, maintain and secure Stitch, and to bill for it.
  • To answer questions and give support.
  • To send service messages such as receipts, security notices and changes to the service.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it, using analytics only where you have agreed.
  • To meet legal duties and to protect our rights and our customers.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use tenant information for advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with companies that help us run Stitch, and only as needed:

  • Stripe, for payments and billing.
  • Supabase, for our database and sign-in.
  • Netlify, for hosting.
  • Email and text message providers, to deliver messages that you or the product send.
  • Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics on this site.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people or the service, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. We will tell customers if that changes who holds their data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep account information while your account is open. After it closes, we keep your data for a reasonable period so you can export it, then delete or anonymize it. We may keep some records longer where the law requires, for example billing records.

6. Security

We use encrypted connections and access controls, and we limit who can see customer data. No system is perfectly secure. See our security page for details, and tell us at support@stitchstorage.com if you find a problem.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@stitchstorage.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. We will respond as the law requires.

You can decline analytics cookies in the notice on this site. You can also set your browser to block cookies.

If you are a tenant, send requests about your storage records to your facility. We will help the facility respond.

8. Where information is stored

Stitch is operated from the United States and your information is stored and processed in the United States.

9. Children

Stitch is for businesses. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. We will tell customers about changes that matter.
