Every Stitch Storage plan includes a free, mobile-friendly facility website at stitchstorage.com/f/your-facility. It shows your sizes, prices, live availability, photos, hours, map and directions, and lets renters rent and pay on the spot.
The problem with a separate website
Many owners pay a web designer, then a second tool to take rentals, then a third to show availability. The pages drift apart. The website says a 10x10 is open when it rented last week.
An included page reads straight from your unit data. When a unit rents, it leaves the page.
What is on the page
| Section | Content |
|---|---|
| Unit sizes and prices | Pulled from your units |
| Live availability | Only vacant units are shown |
| Photos | Yours |
| Hours and directions | Yours |
| Map | Location and, if you set it up, your site layout |
| FAQs | Questions you want answered |
| Rent now | The online rental flow |
Setting it up, step by step
- Add your facility details. Name, address, hours and phone.
- Add photos. Gate, driveway, a drive-up door, an interior hall.
- Check your units and rates. The page uses these directly.
- Write your short description. Plain words: "Fenced, gated, lit at night, 5 minutes from Main Street."
- Publish. Your page is live at stitchstorage.com/f/your-facility.
- Link to it. Add it to your Google listing, your sign and your social page.
Worked example
Say a web vendor would have cost you a setup charge and a monthly fee. That is a cost you can compare to your own quote. Stitch includes the page, so your software bill is Starter at $39 or Pro at $99, plus the 0.3% fee on rent. On $9,500 of rent, the fee is $28.50.
Making the page work
- Put the page link on your Google Business Profile. Read the Google Business Profile guide.
- Use real photos and real prices.
- Keep unit statuses current. In Stitch they update as units rent.
- Mention gate hours and security in plain language.
- See the wider plan in how to market a self storage facility.
Card safety on your page
Renters pay through Stripe Elements. Card data goes to Stripe and Stitch never stores it.
Checklist: what a storage website needs
| Item | Why |
|---|---|
| Loads fast on a phone | Most visits come from phones |
| Real prices | Renters skip pages that hide them |
| Rent button | Fewer calls to answer |
| Map and directions | Rural sites are hard to find |
| Your hours | Sets expectations |
| Contact | A phone number or text line |
Cost
Included in every plan. Starter $39 a month (up to 50 units), Pro $99 a month (unlimited), additional facility $59. No contracts. See pricing.
Writing text that helps renters
People scan. Use short lines.
Good: "Gated and fenced. Open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Rent online in five minutes."
Weak: "A premier storage solution tailored to your needs."
List the things renters ask: gate hours, access hours, whether units are heated or cooled, whether you allow vehicle storage, how to reach you. Add your town name and nearby landmarks, since renters search by place.
Photos that sell
| Photo | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Gate and sign | They found the right place |
| Driveway | A truck can turn |
| Drive-up doors | Easy loading |
| An open unit | True size |
| Lighting at night | Safety |
Shoot in daylight on a phone, hold it level and keep the lens clean.
Prices on the page
Show real prices. If you offer a move-in special, say the end date and the terms. See the glossary entry on move-in special. The page updates as units rent, so you do not edit it every time.
Search and your Google listing
Your page is one input to local search. Your Google Business Profile matters as much. Match your name, address and phone number everywhere, and link your profile to the page. We cover this in Google Business Profile for self storage. Results take time. We do not promise rankings.
What the included page does not do
The included page is a rental page for your facility. It is not a blog or a multi-page marketing site. If you want a custom design on your own domain, ask us what is possible before you plan on it. For many small facilities, a clear single page with prices and a rent button is the right size.
Keeping it fresh
Check the page once a month: photos, hours, phone and any special. Update it after a snowstorm or holiday closure. A page that matches reality builds trust.
