If you want a Storeganise alternative, compare tools on three things: price you can see, contract terms, and fit for your size. Stitch Storage is one option for independent owners with 30 to 300 units: $39 to $99 a month, no contracts, and a free migration in 48 hours.
We make Stitch Storage, so read this page with that in mind. Every Storeganise fact below comes from its own site or a press report, dated as of October 2026. Where we found nothing, we say so instead of guessing.
Who uses Storeganise, and why it is a good product
Storeganise is cloud self storage software with a customer portal, a management portal and an open API. It was founded in 2015 and says it powers more than 1,200 facilities in 50 countries, from single sites to large portfolios.
Its strengths are real:
- Open API. Developers can build on your data.
- Features. Online bookings, a customer portal, unlimited users, automated billing, e-sign, multi-language and an interactive site map.
- Integrations. More than 50, plus Zapier.
- Free setup. Its pricing page says it does not charge for setup and includes two onboarding calls.
- Add-ons. A marketing website and an AI Booking Assistant.
If this describes what you need, staying with Storeganise can be the right call.
Reasons an owner might look for an alternative
We list only reasons we can source from public pages. None of these is a verdict on the product.
- Price is by quote. The pricing page shows a $90 per month example and asks you to reach out for an exact quote based on size and needs (storeganise.com).
- Migration packages cost extra. Its pricing page says data migration is priced separately, and support beyond set hours may cost extra.
- Built for a wide range. It serves independents to enterprise and many countries, so a US-only single-site owner may not need all of it.
What to look for in any alternative
- A price you can see. Ask for the full monthly cost for your unit count, in writing, including payment processing.
- Contract terms. Month-to-month with no auto-renewal is easiest to leave. Ask how and when prices can rise.
- Features you use today. List what you do each week: online rentals, autopay, late fees, gate codes, lien notices. Check each one in a demo.
- A way out. Ask how you export your own data, and what it costs.
- Migration help. Ask who does the work, how long it takes, and whether you can undo it.

Who should stay with Storeganise
Stay if: you depend on the open API or integrations, or you operate outside the US and need multi-language support.
Stitch Storage is not the right fit for large multi-site operators with hundreds of facilities or enterprise custom integrations.
How switching to Stitch works
- Request a full export from Storeganise. Storeganise has an open API that gives access to your data. We found no published export file formats, so ask support for a full export of tenants, units, ledger balances and documents.
- Start the 30-day free trial. No card needed.
- Send the export. Stitch does not have a Storeganise-specific preset. We use the generic spreadsheet preset, which works from any CSV or Excel file with units, tenants, leases and balances.
- Review the validation report and dry run. Nothing live changes until you approve.
- Approve. Migration is free and takes 48 hours from a complete export. You keep renting from your old system until then.
- Roll back if something is wrong.
Units, tenants, leases and balances carry over. Balances appear as "Opening balance" entries in the ledger. Stored card numbers do not carry over, so tenants add a payment method on a secure form. Full steps are in how to switch from Storeganise.
Say you have 120 units and 100 are rented at $95. That is $9,500 a month. After the dry run, check that the Stitch rent roll shows $9,500 before you approve.
