If you want a SiteLink alternative, compare tools on three things: price you can see, contract terms, and fit for your size. Stitch Storage is one option for independent owners with 30 to 300 units: $39 to $99 a month, no contracts, and a free migration in 48 hours.

We make Stitch Storage, so read this page with that in mind. Every SiteLink fact below comes from its own site or a press report, dated as of October 2026.

SiteLink is cloud self storage software founded in 1996 in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is part of Storable. Its site says it serves single stores through large portfolios and claims more than 15,000 stores. That is a large installed base.

Its strengths are real:

  • Breadth. Web Edition, a browser interface called myHub, and a Corporate Control Center for multi-site operators.
  • Integrations. The site lists more than 61 marketplace integrations.
  • Features. eSign, online rentals and payments, and text messaging.
  • Terms. Storable's product page says billing is monthly with a monthly commitment only, and you can cancel anytime.

If you run many facilities, need deep customization or depend on specific integrations, staying with SiteLink can be the right call.

Why some owners look for an alternative

We only list reasons we can source or that are neutral.

  • Price transparency. SiteLink asks you to request a demo for pricing, and we found no price on its site as of October 2026. Some owners prefer to compare prices before a sales call.
  • Fit for a small site. SiteLink's product page stresses customization and advanced reporting. A 60-unit rural site may want something lighter.
  • Ownership changes. Storable named a new CEO in September 2026, per Inside Self-Storage. Some owners re-evaluate vendors after ownership changes. That is a neutral reason, not a problem in itself.

What to look for in an alternative

  1. A published price, or a written quote with every fee itemized.
  2. Month-to-month terms.
  3. Online rentals, autopay and late fees that work without staff.
  4. Lien and auction timelines for your state.
  5. A free or low-cost migration, and a clear way to export your data later.
  6. Support that answers when your gate or payments break.

Our guide to choosing self storage software covers these in more depth.

Where we say "not confirmed," that means we did not find it on SiteLink's pages, not that it is absent. Ask SiteLink. For a longer side-by-side, see SiteLink vs Stitch Storage.

Stay if you run a large multi-facility portfolio, rely on a marketplace integration we do not offer, or need heavy customization. Stitch is not the right fit for operators with hundreds of facilities or enterprise custom integrations.

How switching to Stitch works

  1. Get your export from SiteLink. Ask support for a full export of units, tenants, leases, balances and payment history. We found no published outbound export guide. See how to switch from SiteLink.
  2. Start a free trial. 30 days, no card.
  3. Upload with the SiteLink preset. It maps the columns for you.
  4. Read the validation report. It flags duplicates, missing fields and balance mismatches.
  5. Run a dry run. Nothing live changes.
  6. Go live, and roll back if something is wrong. Free, within 48 hours of a complete export.

Balances come in as "Opening balance" ledger entries. Stored card numbers do not carry over, so tenants re-enter a payment method. Details are on free migration and switch to Stitch.

Before you cancel SiteLink, check your agreement and keep it running until you approve the move. Compare plans on the pricing page.

Frequently asked questions

What is a good alternative to SiteLink?

It depends on your size and needs. For independent owners with 30 to 300 units, Stitch Storage, QuikStor and Unit Trac publish their prices. Large operators who need deep customization may prefer to stay.

How much does SiteLink cost?

SiteLink does not publish a price on its own site as of October 2026. It asks you to request a demo. Ask for a written quote. See our SiteLink pricing page for questions to ask.

Does SiteLink have a contract?

Storable's SiteLink page says billing is monthly with no long-term commitment, and you can cancel anytime, as of October 2026. Confirm with your own agreement.

Can I move from SiteLink to Stitch Storage?

Yes. Stitch has an import preset for SiteLink. Migration is free and takes 48 hours from a complete export. You keep renting meanwhile, and there is a dry run and rollback.

Will my tenants keep their autopay?

Stored card numbers generally cannot move between payment processors, so tenants usually re-enter a payment method. We tell you which tenants need to.
