We make Stitch Storage, so read this page with that in mind. Every Stora fact below comes from its own site, a press report or a review listing, dated as of October 2026. Where we could not confirm something, we say so.
Who uses Stora, and why it is a good product
Stora (stora.co) is cloud self storage software with a bundled website, booking and payments, made by Stora Software of Banbridge, Northern Ireland. It is unrelated to Storable. UK press reported a funding round of about GBP 1.3 million in December 2024.
It is aimed at new and small operators, though listings say it serves sizes from self-employed to 10,000+ units. Its strengths are real:
- Website and booking included. Its pricing page lists a website and booking system, automated payments, online check-in and a CRM.
- Tiers. Essentials, Advanced and Premium. Advanced adds revenue automation, smart entry and debt collection. Premium adds custom roles, phone support and API consultation.
- Free migration in. stora.co/migrations says it moves units, customer data, tenancy agreements and payment methods from systems such as SiteLink and storEDGE.
- Reviewer praise. Reviewers on Capterra call it quick to get running and rate ease of use and support highly.
Why some owners look for an alternative
We list only reasons we can source, or that are neutral. Source: Stora pricing and migrations pages and Capterra reviews, October 2026.
- No prices shown. The pricing page lists three tiers but no prices, and onboarding fees vary and are set by sales. Third-party listings give figures, but they are not on Stora's page.
- UK roots. Stora's base and most press are in the UK and Ireland. Owners in the US should ask about US support hours, US payment methods and US lien and notice rules.
What to look for in an alternative
- A published price, or a written quote with every fee itemized.
- Month-to-month terms.
- Online rentals, autopay and late fees that work without staff.
- Lien and auction timelines for your state.
- A free or low-cost migration, and a clear way to export your data later.
- Support that answers when your gate or payments break.

Who should stay with Stora
- You want a website, booking and payments in one tool and like Stora's approach.
- You are a newer operator who values its onboarding and support.
- You are in the UK or Ireland, where Stora's rules and payment methods are built to fit.
Stitch is not the right fit for operators with hundreds of facilities or enterprise custom integrations.
How switching to Stitch works
- Get your export from Stora. Stora's migrations page covers moving data in. We found no published guide for exporting out of Stora as of October 2026. Ask for a full export of units, tenants, leases, balances and payment history. See how to switch from Stora.

- Upload your files. Stitch does not have a preset built for Stora, so we use the generic spreadsheet preset. You send Excel or CSV files and we map the columns.
- Read the validation report. It flags duplicates, missing fields and balance mismatches.
- Run a dry run. Nothing live changes.
- Go live, and roll back if something is wrong. Free, within 48 hours of a complete export.
Balances come in as "Opening balance" ledger entries. Stored card numbers do not carry over, so tenants re-enter a payment method. Details are on free migration and switch to Stitch.
